"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Firstly, submist your picture or whatever you want to be your DeviantID, you choose the category, and it is in... DeviantART Reated -> Deviant ID, viola.
Well, if you want to add stuff for your info page, you submit it into the DeviantID, and to add stuff to your favorites, at the left top corner, just add to favorites, and to add people, well just add people. Although you can't have your friends box, because you need a subscribe account, and that you have to pay for it. So yeah.
